Last year, 2008, was a wonderful year of discovery in the backyard of my new home.  Since I live on the Cedar Glades, a unique geological area, I am blessed with the beauty of native plants that do not occur anywhere else in the world.  During 2008 I documented over 80 wildflower and wild plant species in my small yard.  As spring approaches I will redo this page with new documentation because I missed the first month last year and I am sure there will be new ones.  For a bit more info on the plants go to the list.
