My work, inspired mostly from personal joys and pains, is both unpredictable and (hopefully) emotionally provoking. From oil paints to Italian marble, from recycled glass bottles to feathers and beads, from handmade papers to woven bed sheets, from public performance to revelations captured through the camera’s eye - I make no limits to my creativity’s mediums and strive to become less and less censored in what I reveal to the public. Life is an ever-changing flow of experiences and because my own life has been one of all extremes, like that of a dozen lives combined, such is reflected in my art.
Some artists use the same art medium over and over, creating a “style” of work that is recognizable to collectors. While this is completely respectable and expected by many, this is not my goal, nor my intention. Since life itself is completely unpredictable, such is the result of my personal creativity. The process of my art is just as important as the end result.
Think of what I produce as not so much about looking at something that is the result of someone else’s life experience, but as a mirror revealing something of yourself, perhaps simply a joy-filled experience in your life, or an emotion of which you may not yet have worked out, or even something no one else knows about you. It is OK. It can be our little secret.
Meanwhile, remember to keep reaching and experiencing because…
Life is limitless.
